Remember your access number is 211 if you are dialing your voice mail on your own SUN number.

Sun Cellular understands that there are people who are uncomfortable with the thought of speaking to a recording. The "Call Back Request" solves that. Your callers may still leave you a message without having to leave a recorded message by choosing the "Call Back Request" option. They then just enter the telephone number where they would like you to call them back.

To leave a Call Back Request
1. Upon hearing the voice prompt, enter the 11-digit mobile number
2. To request for a Call Back, press 3.
3. Follow the simple steps.

The status of the message, whether it has been sent successfully or not is also available. Messages are not limited to Sun Cellular subscribers. You can send messages to other mobiles and even to landlines. So, you can still record mother's day greetings for grandma even if she doesn't have a mobile phone.

Sending Deferred Voice Messages
1. Dial the access number.
2. Choose "To send messages", press 2.
3. Follow the simple steps.

Message Notification

The Voice Mail System automatically calls you as soon as a new message (voice/fax) is left by your caller. You can be called either on your own cellphone, other cellphones (including those of other networks), or through landline. You have the option to choose when to activate/deactivate the notification. For instance, if you do not want to be disturbed during weekends you can deactivate the notification.

2. Choose personalization option by pressing 3.
3. Follow the simple steps.

Call Return

With Sun Cellular's Voice Mail Service, you have the ease of returning the call of the person who left the message without going out of the Voice Mail System. This means, you don't need to memorize the number or scramble for a pen and paper to write down the number to return the call of the person who left you a message. You can return the call of the person while you are on the Voice Mail System and talk to the person directly.

Welcome Announcement

You can record a personal Welcome Announcement so that your friends immediately know they entered the right Voice Mail Service. More importantly, a familiar voice provides a sense of comfort and makes it easy for callers to leave you their message. You can choose to record an announcement on "No Reply" or when your "Line is Engaged".

Personalizing the Welcome Announcement
1. Dial the access number.
2. Choose personalization option by pressing 3.
3. Follow the simple steps.

Answering Recording Service

This feature needs to be activated so your callers can leave messages for you, otherwise, they cannot leave messages even if your Voice Mail Service is active. Think of it like a television set, even if you have the television set that's really state-of-the-art but you don't turn it on, you'll never get to watch any.

PIN for Answering Recording Service

If you want to have only valid messages or want to be free of those people who put the phone down after two seconds, you can. Just activate the PIN for Answering Recording Service and only those people who know this PIN can leave messages for you.
